Eric Hunsberger
Eric is a Solopreneur and Fractional CIO, CTO and CISO, with over two decades of experience across the spectrum of Information Technology roles and across several industries.
His focus is helping small to mid-size organizations align their technology strategy to the business strategy, driving efficiencies, reducing risk, increasing organizational maturity and enabling growth.
Previously, Eric served as a Chief Architect at Optum, driving a comprehensive enterprise analytics and reporting strategy for the United Health Care businesses.
Prior to Optum, he was the CISO and VP IT at Strategic Education, focused on team transformation and modernization. Before Strategic Education, Eric was the CISO and VP IT for Bluestem Brands, guiding the organization through growth, acquisition, significant headwinds and successful exit from bankruptcy.
Eric has a MS in Software Engineering from St. Thomas University, a BS in programming and an AAS in electronics.
