Previously, Eric served as a Chief Architect at Optum, driving a comprehensive enterprise analytics and reporting strategy for the United Health Care businesses.

Before Strategic Education, Eric was the CISO and VP IT for Bluestem Brands, guiding the organization through growth, acquisition, significant headwinds and successful exit from bankruptcy.

 

Eric has a MS in Software Engineering from St. Thomas University, a BS in programming and an AAS in electronics.
